About Us
A period farmhouse, five cottages and eleven comfortable barn
conversions, all part of a working farm.
The essence
of Moor Farm is its space for children.
There is a fenced in play/activity
area.
Free eggs fresh from the farm.
The owners have fishing rights on the nearby River Wensum, also a well-stocked pond and fishing lake.
HEATED INDOOR
SWIMMING POOL, WITH SPA.
Ideal for the keen angler, Moor Farm has a well stocked fishing lake opposite the farm. Set in beautiful, natural countryside it is managed by the local fishing club and is mainly stocked with mirror carp.
NEW FISHING LAKE
We have recently established a new lake nearby which is proving very popular with the fishermen/women who stay with us. It is fully stocked with carp, breem and all the usual white fish.
All guests at Moor Farm are very welcome to fish in the lake at any time free of charge.
Ideal
for touring. We are about twenty miles from
the Norfolk Broads and the North Norfolk Coast.
§ For Ramblers and bird-watchers, over 360 acres of Naturalist Trust
woodland at Foxley Wood.
§ Metal Detecting - Holiday makers
keen on metal detecting are
always welcome on Moor Farm land. Even during
the
growing season we can often accommodate them on neighbouring
uncropped fields.
Excellent village shops at Bawdeswell nearby.
We have accommodation
to suit most people - a family group, or just one man and a dog -
you will be made most welcome.
Two of the stable cottages were designed
especially for disabled guests.
Dogs allowed too.
